Apple vs Linux vs Windows

Early in 2006 I switched from Windows to OSX....My sister introduced me to Apple Mac and I tested a demo from one of our suppliers for a week. I was pretty impressed and wanted 1.

My sister brought me a Macbook Pro 15" from London when se came back to South Africa. I've been using it since and never looked back. I use it almost everyday, except weekends when I don't have any internet access. I use it for everything.
In more than a year since owning it, it's never let me down, never crashed, no funny blue screens. No reloads. I just love it to bits.The interface is so easy, and I hope more people try it and switch like I did.

Then I also use Ubuntu Linux on my work laptop, it's configured with all the XGL and Compiz goodies, and it just works....and looks impressive while doing that. I can do anything on the linux laptop a windows system can do, and 99% of the software is free......and with wine installed I can even run some windows apps if really needed!! I love it!

Currently Windows is at the bottom of my OS list. I only use it when I want to play some pc games...NFS Carbon and so on....I use to love windows, but my love has faded into the sunset.....they need a proper re-do....Vista is to much like XP...And the hype that it sold more copies in the first 30days than XP is irrelevant....how many more pc's are there now then when XP launched!! Compare it % wise!!

I'm not dissing any windows fans, just stating that I prefer the other 2. Windows is still the most popular.....but if you want something "better" make the switch!!!

So lets see how this goes.....this will be my spot for speaking my mind about anything I feel like......

I always want to speak my mind, but don't always have someone to talk to, so now I'll just speak in the open!!

I live in South Africa and I'm 30years old already!! Time flies!!
